Why weren't we informed that all of this was taking place before the event? I'm totally lost. I have a private forum and need it back up ASAP. Will my forum still be private once it is back up and running? It had better be as it's a pregnancy/parenting/family site where people are NOT comfortable with sharing pictures of their children freely on the internet - hence why my forum is totally private.

When you say to set up a temporary forum, does that mean that my old forum will be lost or will all the data be transferred and merged with the new temporary one? If not, what's the point in starting a temporary one - it just means that the data will be lost.

Well, you were only allowed under the ToS to have a certain percentage of posts private anyway. So from the sounds of your forum it seems like it wasn't allowed in the first place.

Also if you were having a parenting site with picture of children displayed it might have been wise to pay for one rather than use a free one?

Hey ease up! My forums are like a large Mothers Group (we have 60 odd members) and we can't afford to pay for a private site because we have no desire to grow our member base as we like to have it the way it is so we're all comfortable with each other. Having said that, IN ACCORDANCE with the ToS (yes I have read them) I had PAID for ad removal and was therefore ALLOWED to have a totally private forum.

No need for the abuse - totally unnecessary and unwarranted particularly given you did not know the information I just provided - perhaps you should check next time before flying off the handle.
